Whilst Soul music is my passion, I do love most genres, including some music from this era.The last Concert I attended or as they call them now "Gigs" was at the O2 twelve months ago when I saw the Killers.
I am also interested in the background to the music and artists I play so I will always give you snippets of that info during my show on Buzz Town Radio

worked in and around the town as a gardener having worked for a local company for just over 20yrs, 5yrs

too. I love all music genre from classical to dance and for the past 6yrs have had the opportunity to
broadcast the music I love on a number of internet radio stations. Now in 2025 you find me here at Buzz
Town Radio a fantastic new station for Leighton Buzzard, playing out my 80s and 90s show weekly. Tune
in Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm.

Host of WorldMixRupert Palmer is a seasoned radio broadcaster whose career began in hospital radio stations across the south of the UK. He honed his skills before joining Viking Radio, where he worked under the guidance of legendary broadcaster Tim Stewart.
His talent and experience led him to a groundbreaking opportunity in West Africa, where he was headhunted to manage Sierra Leone’s first privately owned commercial radio station, ABC FM 94. There, he hosted the flagship breakfast show, reaching an audience of over 1.5 million listeners.
Today, Rupert remains deeply involved in the world of radio and continues to share his passion for global music as the presenter of the WorldMix Radio Show.

The 00s was a decade I nearly missed out on with the most played music in the house being 'The Wheels on The Bus Go Round & Round' and long music-less commutes into London Euston on Silverlink.Fortunately by the end of the decade music rattled round the house again from Atomic Kitten to Blink 182. I'm loving the non stop noughties show, re-finding tracks and memories as well as discovering things that passed me by first time - hope you do too.

Ted has been in radio broadcasting since the early 1970’s when he was in high school. Yes, that has been a long time. He has been host and producer of many different shows
ranging from pop music from the 1950’s and 1960’s to of course jazz.Ted’s main occupation for well over 25 years was being the Promotions and Development. Director Jazz 88 / KBEM – FM, The Minneapolis Public Schools Radio Station.Ted is now retired but still helps out at several community radio stations in Minneapolis, MN where he has lived all of his life.

Ian Davies began his broadcasting journey in the mid-1980s with hospital radio before progressing to FM and AM stations across the north of England.
Over the years, Ian has hosted a wide range of shows—from 80s classics and oldies to album chart countdowns and rock specials—on several FM, DAB, and internet radio stations. His experience includes time with Spectrum FM, the largest English-language radio network in Spain, broadcasting across southern Spain, Gibraltar, and Majorca.
Today, Ian brings his passion for rock music to Buzz Town Radio, where he presents The Rock Block every Thursday at 8pm.
